Anyone else feeling depressed lately? Seems like every time the weather gets in the 90's I feel depressed. Add the stress of inflation, Team Metro , and friends who moved away and it really can weaigh a person down. Anyone else get like this? I wonder if this is seasonal affective disorder?

Not in the nineties! I only feel depressed when it's in the forties and raining, like it is here in Oklhoma now..

Wow Tallrick, I can't even imagine 9 months -or more per year of stinking hot weather! I lived in the gulf south/fl for a lot of my life and the heat made me sooo depressed, Why don't you hit the road or at least buy a "retreat"?

People complain about snow until they move to Florida, than have to spend 6 months indoors because its humid and muggy and winter feels like spring. Its no wonder people feel the way you do, there's no change there. In FL there's summer and Spring and maybe 5-10 cooler days once in awhile. Put the daily rain showers during summer and you got a sauna outdoors. I hated it there, you should move like everybody else tallrick, you should know better than anybody else on the FL board. Good Luck!!!

You could have a kind of seasonal depressive disorder. Long extended periods of any kind of weather can spark it, even our summer doldrums. If you could get away for a weekend to a cooler place that would probably give you a boost. If not, maybe there is a ice rink in your neck of the woods. Hope you perk up soon.

I can deal with the temps how they are now mostly highs in the low 80's or so but once May or even mid April comes around and it starts getting hotter in the 90 range and you don't even get the occasional cool down with a cool front and you know it's not going to get any better until at least late October combined with daily rain and Hurricanes threatening then I would say at least 50% of Floridians must have some sort of seasonal depressive disorder to some degree.I know I'm one of them.My perfect weather is a high of 70 with a low of 50 with cloudless skies and I've realized I even prefer a gray cloudy day with cool weather than a cloudless day with a high of 93,so I know it's the heat that I feel is starting to get really old for me,I mean down here in South Florida we had highs in the low 80s in January this year for a good amount of the month and that's supposed to be the coldest month,it felt like we skipped it.If I could spend May through early October going to waterparks and getting out of town to somewhere cooler, highs in the low 80's would do fine I would be OK.

Yep. Florida sucks. Hate it. The stress of it is so weighty, I can't stand it. SAD is so freakin' depressing, think I'll move out now! What about you?
