There will be less storms norm with a warming planet. But some stronger 1's.

On and Off rain all night long, at 6 AM I got home from exercising and the skies opened again...It's goinn to be a WET SATURDAY today, no doubt . . .But Fred has refused to land in Florida, he's moving fast to the NW from the Sunshine Land .

Most models that I've have looked at show it making landfall near Panama City, perhaps a bit further west.

Which is typical: they don't like land and usually fall when they have no other choice as is the case once they enter the Gulf of Mexico on a north-northwestward trajectory.

One model shows that we may not even get that much rain at all today in the Miami area, but others show moments of hard rainfall.

Behind Fred is Grace which according to some early spaghetti models should also slither into the Gulf of Mexico, avoiding peninsular Florida.

Just another hurricane season, just another day.
