You all know what the OP is asking - whether there is some error in his/her reasoning of what it means to be "non-judgmental" is really irrelevant, now is it? As are spelling errors - imagine people whose native language is not English - oh, the horror. Ah, but where would be the fun without somebody feeling the need to cast the first stone...?

The OP is NOT interested in moving to NY, CA, or WA (which would probably be a much better fit) but simply in living a life where not believing in the same things many in FL believe in does not automatically make you a "lesser" being in desperate need of saving. I can understand that - I have little patience for "Christians" who use their beliefs to claim superiority over others. Practice what you preach...

Alas, I do think the Miami area is probably best suited - doesn't matter much what you do or don't believe, whether you go to church or not, or whether your car has a fish glued to the tail or not. Nobody has ever said anything about religion to me here.
Behold.... Alas,
I was speaking with a Broward real estate agent last week and when I mentioned Golden Beach,in Miami he didn't even know of it and said.....
"Miami, I refuse to even go down there" (with huge telling disdain"
that was very self explanatory)
Therefore, I would think from that, Miami would be a drag for a nice
family, just my 2 cents worth .
The so called OMG sex is in the air here
and all that goes with it plus first hand opinion like above would
be enough for me to look else where

Why should the OP have to apologize for wanting to live somewhere that's a better fit for her family? We like NW Florida enough to have stuck around here a good long while, but I also know the area's faults and issues, and can understand why it's not the right place for everyone.

BTW you spelled judgmental wrong. I am not being judgmental about your spelling.
You only live about 60 miles from I-10 and it heads west to California a pure utopia for your liberal views.
Judgmental is one of those words with alternate spellings. It is correct with of without the "E".

Default It is very simple indeed..

No, I'm not an atheist...
I just believe that going to church is not an obligatory thing. After all God is in your heart, isn't it?
I read a lot about some people being "to the bone Christian" on one side and on the other, dark side they molest children, use prostitutes and do other things I would never even consider of doing.
No, I do not flag about my religious views like some people in and also do not press my believes onto others.
Does it make me a bad person?
Also, I do not like the fact that many churches in US are simply commercial entities nowadays.
In Europe, in many churches, if you want to donate money you can do so by dropping off the donation at the entrance, there is a special collections box for it. You do not have to do it if you can't or don't feel like donating.
Passing the plate around, 10% of your income obligations etc. are simply the way to get $$ from the followers. Never mind when I see a minister driving a Mercedes. What about simple and humble life of a minister where the donations actually go to the needy?
REDNECKS: it is not a label, it is closest way we can name the group of people or certain society with strong conservative and judgemental views and a lack of desire to change their views, at the same time rather ignorant to any other way of thinking/living.
Please mind your own business, leave our lifes alone, do not interfere with our privacy-this is what I'd like to kindly ask from the Rednecks. Is it that difficult?

and by the way you explain everybody, you seem to be non-judgemental to the people that are like you.

liberals tend to call themselves "open minded" when in reality their minds are just as closed as the rednecks the criticize

But what about liberal rednecks, like in Tallahassee?

So you decided to set an example by repeating the offense?

Shame on this entire thread.

Maybe senators mayors and so forth should transfer around every 2-3 years like in
the schools principal situation....you know to give all the kids a new perspective and
confuse them into trying to figure out which plan of rule is for the birds.
That way , the kids just give up and do their homework
Ok.....off to the corner.....nose first....
Oh ya....was looking around last night....Hollywood Florida doesn't look too bad
This is just an opinion, no chewing gum in class....put it on your nose

Read the OP again.
Am betting you are a displaced yankee.
