I'll be darn...I've never heard of that.
I've been a Diabetic over 40 years & have ate cottage cheese my whole life.

Some time ask him why he can't have it, I'll be interested in why.
Thanks.

I love sour cream. In our house, we are all in agreement, if its good, its even better with sour cream. We eat it on everything Mexican, which we eat a lot of. I always put some in mashed potatoes and in cornbread. No measuring, just a big blob, or two.

Shredded beef enchilada (red sauce, please) with a big ol' scoop of sour cream and I'm a very happy person.

It almost reminds u of french onion dip.
Checked with Kroger, and online... could not find sour cream with chives. Are you sure that is not a cream cheese with chives???

Mashed potatoes with sour cream taste so fluffy and light! That's my way to make mashed potatoes ( plus a pinch of fresh chopped dill )...
I also add sour cream to almost any soup.
A toast with sour cream and very little sugar on the top ( for that crunchy feeling) is yummy! You can mix sour cream with any jam/preserves if you want a sweet tread but not too many calories

I love "dumplings" with fruit filling topped with a sour cream dressing
In summer time that is a great light dish to make.

And let's not forget beef stroganoff!

I'm with you all. I totally love sour cream! It's even great added to cake batter. Scrumptious!
