We went out to a local BBQ restaurant. I had a pulled chicken sandwich on toasted bread with a mixture of their hot and medium bbq sauce with coleslaw (on the sandwich of course) and home fries and neiman marcus cookie...oh and several classes of diet coke (with a really good amount of carbonation)

Panfried chicken hearts (89c a pound), mashed potatoes (with peels), fresh green beans (1.09 a pound). Way less than a dollar a serving. Nutritious, cheap, and delicious.

Easy dinner tonight. I'm making a stir fry with some leftover flank steak and frozen snow peas. I'll serve over rice (also leftover).

Peanut butter sandwiches with my homemade peach jam. (which I made BEFORE the never-ending summer started)

Lettuce salad with cucumber, red onion, and tomato for the second course.

That's a cool combo. Looks like more leftovers tonight for us. Got to get the fridge road ready.

tonight i feel like having 5 costco meatballs, penne pasta, rao's vodka sauce with a side of normandy veggies cooked in yoshida sauce. ill have some sweet potato casserole as a little dessert. my wife decided to make it the other night, it was a frozen thing from aldi. very yummy but super sweet!
