That reminds me, I need to take the fish out of the freezer. We are having fish, green beans and salad.
I am working really hard on loosing a few lbs. We are going on a cruise in mid Oct and I need to shed 10 lbs. It used to be easy, but not anymore. We all know metabalism slows down as we get older, but if I got off my A## more and forgot about the vino for awhile I might stand a better chance. The doctor asked me last time I had my checkup if I thought I could lose 10 lbs before I reported back? I told her of course I could, but would I? Thats another question.

After yesterdays cooking/canning/baking marathon (all of which turned out great), I'm going OUT for lunch today to Punch Pizza! And dinner tonight is a simple, single, chicken pot pie baked in a crock with a filo dough top instead of a crust. Quick and comforting!

i have some leftovers from saturday night, gnocchi in a creamy brandy goat cheese sauce with artichoke hearts, mushrooms, sundried tomato, shallots and peas. i ate all the shrimp from the dish so ill probably throw in some meatballs.

it was a great dinner and thanks to my restaurant.com certificate, it ended up costing us $21 per person total.
