After my 4 less-than-memorable adventures last week cooking, I was going to play it safe this week, but that urge, that itch returned while paging thru cookbooks, and did it again!!!

Mexican Chicken Stew with Ancho Chiles. Never cooked with Ancho Chiles before, and it called for some "Ugh" (cilantro), and what a delightful, tasty suprise! This will set me right back on the adventure path again!!

Also have some Chicken Chow Mein with almonds simmering. And some Luscious lemon bars for dessert.

Last night: Salt Lick BBQ in Round Rock, TX. It was sliced brisket, pork ribs, sausage, German potato salad, beans, cole slaw, sliced bread, and iced tea.

Tonight: Fish Daddy's in Pflugerville, TX. Seafood, and whichever selections I pick, I'll be eating it all broiled tonight. I'll try to update you if I can.

Whatever you'd like to make for me is perfect. I really don't feel like cooking anything. I'm hungry, though. I just don't want to cook.

I feel like I have a fever, so if you just want to leave it at my front door so that you don't catch my sickies, that's fine.
