Preference is first for Coke Zero, then Pepsi Max. Coke Zero mixes better with bourbon IMO, so there is that.

Me too - I don't even know if I can get it here anymore - I don't go down that aisle in the store. (Husband does that heavy lifting.) I am going to make it a point to go check!

I am, however, now addicted to Pepsi (with Real Sugar). Coke tastes to "thick" and "syrupy" to me - kind of "carmel-ish" for lack of a better word. I have to limit myself to 1 can per day. And, judging by the little bitty clock in the lower right hand side of my screen, it's about that time!

PS - Edited to add: None are sugar free - I won't drink sugar free soda. Or un-caffeinated or extra-caffeinated or flavored soda for that matter. I just drink the regular old Pepsi or regular old Coke or regular old RC.

Another vote for Coke for the same reason, Coke was a lot better before HFCS. My all time favorite is Moxie which I bring back from Maine by the carload.

Are you trying to revive the cola wars from the 1970s? LOL

Well I used to live in a state that was Pepsi all the way, then moved to a state that's Coke all the way (which is strange considering your football team reps Pepsi) but I'm still Pepsi. First time I had a lot of Coke was moving to Brainerd and it has an odd taste to it. It tastes like it's already on it's way to being flat and waaaaay too sweet.

Pepsi, I enjoy highly. Especially Mountain Dew. I hate that I live in MN where damn near every place ONLY has Coke products. Like come on, you guys have Doritos all over the place and it's literally paired with Mountain Dew (aka Pepsi) on the bag! You can't at least offer that?

It's also bad where most (in my area) college apts you go to have a Pepsi vending machine in it just for the Mountain Dew haha. But if a restaurant only offers Coke, I just say no pop then and get me a juice or something.

A few years ago my friend ran into a guy filling Pepsi at a convenience store and asked him if he wanted to know how to make a Pepsi. He said sure, and the Pepsi guy said open a can of Coke and leave it in the fridge overnight and you have a Pepsi in the morning.
