Well it worked out, the crust that I was concerned about was actually edible, the chicken and vegetables and gravy/sauce were tender and done. The only problem was I did not "vent" the crust enough and there was a few tiny "eruptions" that spilled over onto the cookie sheet. My wife was shocked and very pleased that I would attempt this type of venture to say the least. At least now I know I can do it....without worrying to much....
DH has a work event, so I'm going to make myself some angel hair pasta tossed with fresh tomatoes from my colleagues garden, basil, garlic, and mozzarella. Looking forward to it-- DH hates tomatoes, so this is a treat!
It's too hot to cook, so I stopped by my favorite Chinese fast food place and got my usual fried rice with black pepper chicken and barbecued pork. I also had a small green salad and red seedless grapes to go with my dinner.
Shrimp creole over white rice for me; DH isn't a big fan of shrimp, so I made chicken creole for him.
