and do you like the bbq or herbed ones or just the plain ones and how do you use them?

I have found they are very cheap and usually tasty and so convenient. However we all prefer white meat even though I do hide the dark in casseroles or chicken salad.

How much is your store's chicken? It really doesn't matter to me if I'm in a hurry and don't have time or don't want to mess with cooking one.

Once or twice a month from Costco. 4.99 for a 3lbs net weight bird out the door.

Usually buy two at a time. Lasts us a whole week or longer.

For that price I cant buy and cook whole chickens for cheaper.

I never buy them as they are usually pumped full of saline "for flavor and juiciness" and I hate that salty taste.

Rarely do I buy them, maybe once a year. I make my own because the ones in store are always overcooked and dry. I do like the ones from Costco though. In the grocery stores by me they are about $5.99 each.

I get one about every 2 or 3 weeks. Usually on a Friday from 4 to 7 they have them for $5 and these are never dried out. My preference is for the lemon pepper or plain. I am not much of a fan of barbeque flavor. After it is great for chicken sandwiches and sometimes I will make a soup.

I rarely buy them because I do not like how messy it gets taking the chicken off the bone. It is just too greasy (maybe it is just juice, but it seems like grease) for me. However, the cats love it.

Once every week or two:

My wife buys them, and we use the meat for quesadillas or some other dishes that need small pieces of chicken. Sometimes she will keep the dark meat just for herself.

We always do them ourself at cheaper cost and better taste. We always take the left over meat and use grinder to make chicken salad.

Once a month. It's our go to fast food when I don't feel like cooking. I buy it at Costco - at $4.99 you can't beat it.
