Here is the link to the article about caramelizing onions I refered to this morning.....still sounds great to me...and I know I will be making some. Slow cook onions, and the results are delicious - Los Angeles Times

Chicken and dumplings, corn on the cob, french cut green beans. Nice starchy comfort food.

I have two half chicken breasts roasting with seasonings and oil and garlic and I have two boneless skinless breast portions that I marinated in Paul Newman salad dressing roasting too.....and I have a salmon fillet defrosted that will be cooked this evening too...... I also have some nice asparagas and rice.

Elston, question? When you say asparagus and rice, do you mean asparagus with rice? Or asparagus as a side and rice as a side? (Forgive me if this is an ignorant question, but I have never prepared asparagus since I don't like it. Of course, I do need to try it again in different ways since I haven't tasted it since I was a child.
