Jaxson I am feeling fine.... all better from the stones...keeping up with the water and the meds are done now... doing great. I do feel like I have had a lot on my plate though- you are right about that. Seems to be always full these days.... right now it is the kids.... Waiting for someone to empty it.....

Good morning everyone. Last night I cooked salmon, home made macaroni salad that also has cabbage and carrots, sauteed asparagus. I didn't eat much dinner then went to my small group meeting, came home and was so hungry, so made some Spicy Korean soup with tofu, veggiesm egg and kimchi. It was yummy!

Tonight, something with chicken. I think.

Good morning everyone. Just dropped BF and his brother off at the airport before work this morning. They are going on a "man-cation" and I am going to miss him so until Monday night!! But it will be nice to just come home, put on my pjs and relax tonight and tomorrow night!!

Last night we went to a seafood place for dinner and I got a pasta dish with mussels, shrimp, linguine, mushrooms, snow peas, garlic, onion, tomato, and a basil cream sauce. It was really good! Also stole some of BF's hushpuppies and "frites" from his fish and chips - yummy!!

Tonight's dinner will be the leftover pasta.

skbs: I hope the children & mom too feel better today.

Lacey, how was Mr. L's night. How are you feeling?

cyn, is your headache better?

lisa, hubby went to the GI specialist yesterday and is going to have an Endoscopy in 2 weeks, just to make sure there isn't serious going on. Thank you for asking.

I changed dinner last night. We had so many mussels left over from Sunday, so I decided to make angel hair pasta with grated Pecorino Romano cheese and ladled the mussels marinara on top of the pasta, hot crusty bread and a spring salad. Very satisfying, h was happy.

Tonight we are either going to the Oyster Bar or Outback. I will decide later this afternoon.

I hope everyone has a great morning.

I think I'm going to get some corned beef today and a cabbage...That would be a quick put together once the wife comes in tonight...add a helping of corn and bingo.

Morning everyone, dinner last night was a bust. I had a horrible headache so I ended up laying down and hubby made box mac and cheese. Tonight will be some kind of chicken to be determined here shortly.

Hope everyone has a great day.

Cyn: shopping day! Sounds like fun to me.

Highlands: Man-cation. I like it. I am all for making up words.

Last night's baked chicken never happened.. instead we had a dinner of cocktails followed by bagels w/ cream cheese and pringles.

Really classy, yeah?

So tonight we shall have baked chicken and rice and veg.

I feel the need to buy a corned beef though, for some reason..

Sounds delicious (except that I hate mussels.. haha). I have been wanting for a while to make some kind of dish like this or maybe just mussels with crusty bread for my DH who just loves them. Do you have a recipe for the pasta?

Ok changed my mind. I am going to attempt to make homemade hamburger buns and we are going to have sloppy joes. Keep your fingers crossed that these buns turn out.
