Well my friends John, Stephanie, Chase, and I visited my grandparent's in Montreal because they bought a beautiful rowhouse in Old Montreal area. We at a very nice restaurant called Version Laurent Godbout. I ordered the seafood pasta, and boy was it good. Surprisingly, the employees seem to not mind me taking a picture of it. So here it is:

It was an expensive dinner, but my grandpa was very nice to pay for it. We went sight-seeing for a while and then, we stopped at McCafe (coffee shop version of McDonalds). There, I had some cappuccino. Here is what it looks like:

Doesn't that looks good?

I have a cookbook called Fast Fixes with Mixes and came across this chicken recipe.

Creamy Italian Chicken

4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves
1 envelope Italian salad dressing mix
1/4 cup water
1 package (8ozs) cream cheese, softened
1 can (10 3.4 ozs) cream of chicken soup, undiluted
1 can (4ozs) mushroom stems and pieces, drained

Hot cooked rice or noodles

Place the chicken in a slow cooker. Combine salad dressing mix and water; pour over chicken. Cover and cook on low for 3 hours. In a small mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and soup until blended. Stir in mushrooms. Pour over chicken. Cook 1 hour longer or until chicken juices run clear. I usually cook egg noodles and serve the chicken over them with a nice green salad. My kids and husband love this and it doesn't heat up the kitchen. You could probably cook it on high and cut the cooking time in half. I have to double the recipe because I feed 4 boys. Hope you enjoy

probably left overs, or maybe saute some shrimp in olive oil and lemon pepper and serve over pasta. Depends on what hubby wants to cook.

Okay, what is "chicken french?" I haven't heard of this!

Tonight we were planning on leftover chili with some cornbread, but then our friends down the street called us up for dinner and we ate inslata caprese, garlicy buttered baguette, GIANT turkey meatballs in "gravy", cabernet, and those peanut butter cookies with the kisses in the middle for dessert!

we stopped at our garden plot along the way and picked up zucchini, yellow squash, plum tomatoes, cucumber, green bell peppers, serano peppers, and cherry tomatoes to eat up this week...

Tomorrow will be salad and the rest of the chili
