DH had hot dogs on which I melted some Gouda, and I just had one of my fave guilty pleasures:

Toasted Almond rice pilaf

Near East® Mobile

If they ever stop making this flavor I may just lay down and die.

1 whole celery
6 large carrots
6 large potatoes
2 large onions
salt and black pepper
Worcester sauce or Maggi
Olive oil
2 large bay leafs
Water to cover all vegetable

Wash all vegetable ,cut and dice all of it.
In a large pot put olive oil and fry diced onions til golden brown.
Add celery, potatoes and carrots ad mix well and fry for 10 min, stirring occasionally.
Cover with water and cook til vegetable is soft. Strain vegetable and put in blender til smooth consistency like ,,baby food'' . Pour back in sauce and whisk well. Flavor with salt, pepper,Maggi or Worcester sauce. and simmer for 15 more minutes. Serve in bowls and add either a heaped tsp. of yogurt or sour creme and sprinkle with green diced spring onions or cut chive for decoration. Serve immediately and enjoy! Delicious!!!
