For the 4th this year, we had brisket, asparagus, garlic bread, and five-cheese ravioli (red, white, and blue star noodles) and for dessert, chocolate sheet cake and ice cream.
Grilled ribeye steaks, ahi poke, diced up mangoes and cantaloupe, rice and NO veggies tonight.
If you hear a knock on the door tonight, that means I've found you and want to join you for dinner!
(don't deny a mod some poke )
I forgot dessert: fat free vanilla ice cream and spiced-liquored plum and nectarine compote

My son is making today a Vegetarian and also a Pepperoni pizza with whole wheat crust...we add flax to the dough too. With it a green salad. Everyone will have beer and I will have hot lemon/ginger water with a sprinkle of chili. For dessert fresh Mango slices!
We had a very disappointing version of Shepherds Pie at a restaurant this week, so I decided to make a version with either lamb or pork. I bought some pork and will make a stew with fresh vegetables to top with mashed potatoes. Can't be bad, right?
Grilled boneless chicken breasts that I marinated in balsamic and garlic, which I will slice and put over spaghetti with garlic and oil. Saute'd summer yellow squash as a side dish.
Steaks... roasted potatoes and carrots? Summer squash and garlic?
I think I'm tired of cooking.
