I make a sweet and sour meatball thing over rice, but tonight I made it with boneless pork ribs. It smells divine.
I'm sure I've posted the recipe before...pineapple, vinegar, sugar, soy sauce, pineapple juice, green pepper chunks. You get the picture.
An encore presentation of previous meals -- beggar's buffet. The time change always throws off my cooking rhythm for a few days, so I've got a meatloaf in the oven now as dinner for tomorrow night while our bodies get used to the time change and aren't ravenous as soon as we walk in the door at night.
lots going on in the kitchen at the moment...buffalo chicken quesadillas for dinner, a brining turkey breast to roast for sandwich meat and a pork roast for dinner tomorrow, sugar pumpkin puree and brown sugar syrup for the makings of pumpkin butter. It's a happy place.
