Today's lunch was at my first stop in Abilene, Texas. It was Joe Allen's BBQ. I had brisket, sausage, pork ribs, potato salad, cole slaw, red beans, apple cobbler, and iced tea.
1/2 large bag of some horrid, low cal, organic, non-gluten, puffed corn/rice gobblydegook called Pirate's Booty. My mistake, thought it was cheese popcorn. I was watching movies all day & thought it might be nice with an IPA. If air were crunchy... it would be Pirate's Booty. The other 1/2 bag is down the garbage disposal. Blasted pirates...
Last big lunch I have to serve...sigh...today we will have tuna fish sandwiches with lettuce and ice tea. For dessert cut up fruit such as apples,oranges,grapefruit,banana,kiwi,grapes and mango.
One and half chunk light tuna sandwiches on whole wheat bread with mayonnaise and dill pickles, a package of 4 Belvita blueberry biscuits and a large glass of cranberry juice.
Pan fried thin sirloin steak over salad for me and son is having a steak and bit of left overs from last night.
