My one and only big cook-out for the week, to last me a week:
Cranberry-Wine Sauced Pork, Minestrone, French Quarter Bean Soup (w/Chicken & Ham and w/4 types of beans). For sweets: Cranberry Crumble and Gingerbread Squares.
Tonight we have cheese toast layered...rye bread with butter, black forest slices (optional),pine apple rings or tomato slices,Dijon mustard and old cheddar cheese and baked in the oven. With it a creamed broccoli soup. For dessert again fresh mangoes.
Chipotle hummus sand which on a crusty multi grain roll, stuffed with sliced tomatoes, avocados, roasted artichoke hearts, sliced onion and sliced dill pickle. My daughter adds provolone cheese and more peppers.
Red skin potato salad with a light Balsamic vinegar dressing.
Served with a cold Stella for the older folks. Lemon water for everyone else.
Strawberries and cantaloup for desert.
Ooh, that sounds good!

Tonight is Panera...have a gift card and we have a concert to be at by 630, so has to be quick!
salad night with pasta salad with ham, cheeses, celery, bit of onion, and red skin potatoe salad too.
poached pears with chocolate sauce for dessert. been trying to do this all week but don't feel like it after supper. with these salads made before noon I should be able to get to the poached pears.
