Never had catfish. Just curios how do you cook it and how would it compare in taste to other fish..

I've read many deep fry, but is it gamy tasting..and is it a white fish? I think what I'm asking is if i ordered catfish fish and chips would it taste like an ocean caught fish and chips..be it cod, flounder etc?

The first time I had it was in February. I get it already lightly breaded. I bake it in the oven. It is mild, at least what I have had is. In Oklahoma, catfish is a big thing...does not taste like the ocean at all.

Mini meatloaves, applesauce, maple-dill carrots, jasmine rice, and a side of salad. (Since the ground beef was on sale and I was running the oven anyway, I made extra muffin pans of mini meatloaves to freeze.)
