Unusually hot tonight so we will dine on the screened porch under ceiling fans, and I won't be using the kitchen.

Serving chilled cucumber soup, a salad of thinly sliced cooked sweet beets, baby greens and goat cheese crumbles with a citrus dressing.

Grilled corn on the cob with herb butter.

Cheese board with a variety of local cheeses - DH is picking them up now, along with a bottle of wine and a crusty rosemary and sea salt bread.

Assorted fruit - grapes, pears, and apples.

I couldn't rep you again. But boy does that sound wonderful! I am going to have to figure out how to make cucumber soup.

had plans for roasted chicken thighs, got home, opened the fridge, and got hit in the face with the stench of foul fowl.

It's a squash casserole instead.
