Just curious how many people bring their own lunch boxes to work? What do you make for your lunch at work? Saw there are a lot of nice lunch boxes out there, but thought it may be more convenient to just buy take-out?

I bring leftovers. Today is was mango curried chicken with Basmati rice. A peach for dessert.

im in a different place on the road, most everyday, so I get to know the good places to stop- (for cheap and good food) usually not restaurants, but stores, that baked their own chicken as in thighs and legs and breasts
I do pack a lunch too full of fruit and cheap yogurts and sometimes leftovers often in a cooler with those ice packs
Usually some leftovers from a previous day. Sometimes I cook especially for lunch to take to work. Sandwich tend get too soggy, so I take bread and salad (there is a perfect way how to make layered salad that stays fresh for many hours). Layered Salad-in-a-Jar
I also have some portioned ready to eat food in my freezer. My lunch box will include piece of fruit, or fruit salad, and juice or tea.
I don't eat out because I'm rebuilding my savings account.
I take mostly leftovers in plastic containers. I found a sack full of Rubbermaid ones at a garage sale for $3.
When they get too nasty, I toss them. I carry them in plastic grocery bags, although I do have several soft lunch bags and pop coolers. I use those more on the weekends. I frequently take lunch with me when I'm going to garage sales or shopping.
When I worked a two-person patrol car, it was customary to stop and eat out. Working a solo unit, I would prepare my meal at home and pack it in a small cooler. I'd normally find a nice park to enjoy my "Code 7".
Yes, I'm usually a packer, and I, too, bring leftovers most often. Love leftovers!
When I cook dinners during the week, I make a point of cooking extra for that purpose. It's easy to throw the leftovers into a couple of different containers for ready-made lunches.
