Well ... no. They may have a similar number of calories per ounce, but fruit juices do have plenty of nutrients, where pop has none.

No wonder obesity is on the rise. All the hidden sugars in foods that you wouldn't expect to contain sugar, such as milk!

Who would have thought? 60 Minutes had a real eye-opener on sugar recently, if you have the chance to see it sometime, it's pretty darn interesting, as well as astonishing.
I invested in a Vitamix and make my own almond milk at home. Not only is there no sugar added, there aren't preservatives either. Pre-soaking the nuts also enhances protein content.

If you want to add coco, add cacao powder.

You can do so much with a Vitamix.

And, if your kids like lemonade, you can create your own organic lemonade at home using maple syrup in small quantities or you can even blend it with pineapples for the natural sugar flavor. Sooo good!! You can also add lavender to it too (without the pineapple).

Indeed. But is infinitely better than processed sugar like HFCS.

Since pineapple juice was the example given...

1 cup of pineapple has .19g of fat and .84g of protein.

Pineapple juice actually has a little more protein.

Not sure why protein and fat content is your concern considering we're talking about fruit. Not really a food group known for either of those things.

Every so often I will get an intense craving and drink about one or two 12 oz glass of OJ in a couple of days....but that is about once every six months or longer. I wish they would make quarts of OJ rather than having to buy a half gallon.
