I picked up some bites from the deli salad bar to supplement what I have on hand. This salad is going to be great: black olives, red onions, peas, chicken, red bell pepper, ham, salami, boiled egg, broccoli and carrots with mixed greens and topped with Parmesan-garlic croutons. I haven't decided on the salad dressing yet.
potstickers aren't big up here,,,but ive had more and more in the last year..
do you pronounce it pot-stickers, or po! - stickers
I was in a store in conneticut and I heard a lady call them po!- stickers
??
just curious..
is this originally a regional thing,,, like,,,scrapple?
They are kind of like a dumpling. Maybe more exactly like a half moon shaped pirogi or ravioli.
I actually think you might like them!
My friend from Maine (former college room mate) lives near Portland. They are available there. So no, not at all regional. An Asian thing.
I have never heard them called "po stickers". Ever.
They are pronounced as they look - "POT" - like a utensil or another word for marijuana.
And "STICKERS" like the things people affix to the bumpers of their cars.
Thank you! Im trying to eat more veggies and the meat cravings are killing meh!
