I hope it's okay for you. My mom made it for us once and it tasted like brown gravy with something tangy. Nothing remotely like Marsala. Taste it first just in case.

Lemon piccata chicken with pasta. Steamed broccoli on the side. We've been having a lot of pasta this chilly winter.

A simple dinner tonight of sweet Italian sausage sauteed up with apple slices. Depending on my motivation later I will make either homemade mac and cheese or just plain rice to go with it.

Our "don't eat leftovers" granddaughter sent home steak, shrimp, and rosemary potatoes a couple of days ago, so that will be dinner. I am just trying to figure how to heat the steak without over cooking it. I will make a green salad as well. I was going to have soup cause it is so miserable here today, but it is going to be just as bad tomorrow. I will keep the soup for then.

Tonight we have a potato and green peas curry soup more on the thicker side with chapatis,lime pickles,onion/tomato/cucumber slices and homemade plain yogurt. For dessert 1/2 a pink grapefruit each.

Ingredients in my soup are...
olive oil
ginger/garlic/onion/green chilies
turmeric
cumin seeds
coriander powder
turmeric powder/
salt
tomato paste
potatoes/green peas
fresh cilantro

Slice the steaks thin and make a steak salad?

So it's like a skating rink here today. Move has been postponed until Sunday. Since my whole place is packed, it's going to be take out till then. I'm guessing Chinese tonight, since they deliver and I'm all pizza'd out!
