A blueberry nonfat yogurt, 2 toasted slices of whole grain wheat bread with strawberry preserves and a mug of tea with a teaspoon of sugar & a bit nonfat milk.

It's close (enough) to Thanksgiving and Canada is close enough to the U.S., so I made a green bean casserole the other day. I'm going to have that with some chicken. (I know! I know! But I don't like turkey.)

Haha, after about a million US Thanksgiving green bean casseroles, I had an epic fail last year. I still cannot figure out what happened.

I remember you talking about it! Something about it being too runny... was that it?

Yes, it separated. Still no clue, but I'll get back on the horse next year. I miss you being in Worcester, by the way.

I miss my house in Worcester, that's for sure! I loved that house.

Ah, yes, it separated, even though it was fresh milk. I made mine with skim milk, by the way, and I was surprised that it was just fine. (I thought it would be runny, which it was when I first took it out of the oven, but then it settled.)

I'm sure your casserole will be PERFECT next year. (Say it thrice and it will be so.)

Hey! Wait a minute. Is there a Worcester club/clique/fan club on the food board? I was just in Worcester (again and BTW their restaurant scene is really great right now) on Saturday. We were going to take the kids to the Ecotaruim and then Pepe's for a late lunch. Pulled up to the ecotaruim and it was closed because of a pipe burst! We had to totally replan our day.

Hahahaha!

You're right, the Worcester restaurant scene was good when I lived there (2011 - 2013) and I'm not surprised that it's great now. There are a few sushi places, in particular, that I miss A LOT!

Sorry about the ecotarium, but good that you didn't venture out today to find it closed. It's snowing like crazy today AGAIN, isn't it?

DH made spaghetti with meat sauce with a side of garlic bread. Unsweetened iced tea to drink.

It was this morning but it stopped around noon. I haven't ventured out today. The really great part about all this snow? Skiing at Wachusett is awesome!
