Too much snow to drive anywhere for dinner. So we are going to spend Valentine's Day at home.

Making heart shaped spinach and ricotta ravioli with a creamy tomato vodka sauce.

Field green salad with pomegranates, candied pecans and goat cheese crumbles. Artichokes with garlic butter sauce and lemon dip.

Italian sausage (by Tofuky) and garlic herb bread.

DHs favorite Triple Dark Chocolate Bundt Cake with my favorite berry sorbet.

A glass or two of wine and dark chocolates. DH will select the wine.

Happy Valentine's Day!

We just got back from a late lunch with the kids. We tried a Tex-Mex place. It was ok, nothing to write home about. We had a lot of leftovers so we will eat those with a salad for a casual dinner. The snow really picked up while we were at lunch and the roads are already getting iffy. I'm glad we are in for the night!

Making pheasant cacchiatore over risotto, roasted jalapenos stuffed with gorgonzola, cream cheese and diced pancetta, and homemade chocolate covered strawberries.

A nice sweet and spicy Valentine's Day dinner!

Ginger-garlic baked salmon, potato and garlic galette, steamed broccoli, and unsweetened iced tea to drink. Dessert is crockpot cherry crisp with whipped cream.

A low fat probiotic blueberry yogurt, a piece of round "Uzbek" white bread with healthy-style margarine, a slice of whole grain/wheat bread with strawberry preserves and a mug of tea with a teaspoon of sugar and a bit nonfat milk.

Stuffed peppers, bread and butter, and more Valentine's chocolates than I care to admit.

Still full from lunch. Had a cup of applesauce and some water, that's it.
