ROADTRIP! Of course I will. Haven't been to Mass since Nantucket and Cape Cod in 1994. It might take me a bit to get there, but the seafood will be worth it!!!
Frozen Pizza for DH (I nabbed a slice). He's on a real frozen pizza kick. Whatevs.
For me I made fresh bread and a soup made from leftover mashed potatoes with a big slice of leftover ham steak diced up into it. Easy and thrifty, but guess what? Now I have MORE leftovers!
It's Friday, January 30th which means tonight is 30 cent night at our club!!!! 30 cent alcoholic beverages and 30 cent selected sandwiches/fries. I hope one of the 30 cent choices is that good Canadian whiskey they had last month (Canadian Mist). It'll taste good in this cold, snowy zero degree weather!

The poor Cape and Nantucket got hit pretty hard during this last storm. Nantucket had severe flooding, seven feet in some areas and the whole island lost power, no ferries or flights for days. But both areas are just so beautiful in the summer. Any who my bags are packed!
My husband has been in Connecticut for work all week. Hopefully he will be home tomorrow, so for the kids tonight I thought I would let them m make their own pizzas. I think I will just defrost some beef stew for me. Of course I reserve the right to just pick up the phone and order delivery!
Chicken Cacciatore for Hubs and the kids. For me, I get my work done early enough I'm going to test out a recipe for a vegan version of New England Clam Chowder I've been messing around with. If not... leftover rice & beans.
