I thought I'd be home for St.Patrick's Day, but instead, I am in Louisville KY.

Tonight we are dining at a riverside " Gastropub" (bar with good food - new word to me) and I think I will order the fish and chips. NO CHEESE!

They also have a Baily's Cheese Cake that is already tempting me.

I'm having a hickory smoked burger with sliced mushrooms on a whole wheat roll with spinach salad. It's not corned beef and cabbage, but it will do! Happy St Patrick's Day to all my Irish brothers and sisters!

You might want to investigate the Kentucky "Hot Brown" while you're there. You've probably already seen it on a menu there.

Very long day and I still have another hour to go. When I'm done, I'm grabbing a box of mac and cheese out of the pantry and am going to make that up, and eat it right out of the pot on the couch. Husband had Brussels Sprouts - he made them himself. He felt like veggies for some reason. Made him happy so good for him.

Irish beef stew (yes, blessed by hubby pouring a bottle of his Guinness beer in it)

Dessert: I had a choc/mint cupcake with some tea. That cupcake was delicious.
