We made fajitas, corn on the cob and mac and cheese. Lots left over though. Mac and cheese makes a ton...and we aren't big eaters. Hope it keeps til tomorrow!
Dinner was chili, with strawberry ice cream for dessert. My dinners are going to be pretty simple for a while, because I'm having my hip replaced on Thursday. I'm off my regular pain med (NSAID) and my hip is not having this walking stuff. DH gets chef duty.

^^^I hope to hear that all went well with your surgery,Emeraldmaiden!
This has been day and evening full of leftovers, snacks, and headache.
Tomorrow's menu is much better! It looks like homemade pizza and salad.

Praying for you during this time of surgery and recovery.
I'm not sure if this product is new to my area, but the grocery store basically paid me $3 to try it because of all the coupons: Ravioli Spinaci E. Ricotta | Giovanni Rana
It was very good, but I wasn't as crazy about the alfredo sauce we had with it. There was also black pepper salami and a garden tomato cut up into the sauced raviolis.

Hang in there: the first couple of weeks might not be fun, but after all is said and done things get better and you will be so much more comfortable. I had a knee replacement almost 2 years ago: I have no regrets even though the first 6 weeks were not the most fun in the world. Good luck.
going to have turkey burgers, a big green salad and fresh broccoli. It isn't fancy, but quick and nutritious.
