Too hot to cook with a heat index of 107, so we had tuna salad, corn on the cob, and green beans. Dessert is homemade peach melba ice cream with the last of the angel food cake.

I hear you both. Dinners sound great also. We had a lovely respite tonight - not much rain ( I heard the thunder ) but the storm dropped our temps to the low 80's. If only it would stay this way!!

I grilled a chicken breast coated in my homemade rosemary salt rub, then sliced it and served it on sesame bagels with romaine lettuce & tomato.

I should have planned a "real" dinner for the nice weather...

It's always better with butter!
Thanks for the rep Sheena. I appreciate it!

I actually didn't get to make the Baked Potatoes with the Bush's Baked Beans for tonight's dinner, as hubby and I were too busy getting things done on the home front, so I plan on making this for either tomorrow's lunch or dinner.

Sheena, this is any easy meal to make for either lunch or dinner.
Hope you like it as much as we do!

AngID, I wasn't able to rep you, so I wanted to let you know...
The salad sounds quite delish, and I look forward to making it someday.
Thanks for sharing!

Tuesday: home made turkey Swiss, mushroom and bacon burgers, spinach salad. Wildberry cobbler with vanilla ice cream.

I'm going to try those baked potatoes with baked beans! I did rep you.

Jrsygrl51, thank for the rep. I appreciate it! Sometimes I wonder if others get the reps I send, cause... if you click onto the upper one to the right, and when it does work, often I get the message, you can't post a rep twice, but you have to click twice in order for it to go through, so I never know if the person I tried to rep actually got my "rep".

Also, the rep on the lower left side, doesn't always work. It states I have to post a few reps first before I can post one. Ugh, that's odd, cause I have previously been doing that, so why do I still get that message? After one posts a rep (and along with a message), I wish it would also leave the name of the person who posted it. I'm always wondering and guessing who did that.
