Do you believe I'm doing a roast turkey and trimmings. yep. Had T'Day dinner at a friends and didn't get any left-overs...so how can one live without a couple of days hot and cold turkey sandwiches. Not me!
On the menu tonight: roast turkey breast, dressing, cranberry relish (with apples and oranges), green beans, lots of gravy -- and pumpkin pie. Keeping it simple, with just the basics for the two of us.
Does anything smell better than a turkey roasting?? I'm literally drooling...one more hour or so, then we eat...
I don't have the time or energy to be creative with dinner tonight:
2 thick veal chops (pan-seared and then thrown into oven), maybe topped with rosemary, thyme, garlic, butter and diced green onions, spaghetti topped with a carton of marinara sauce I had in the freezer, a garden salad and Italian bread.
Didn't feel like cooking much or having leftovers, so fried eggs, asparagus and seedy bread toast.
