A complete lunch deal from El Pollo Loco which included 2 pieces of grilled chicken, 2 flour tortillas, a side salad with avocado-based dressing, sides of macaroni & cheese and corn. Churro for dessert which I'll have later.
Yesterday’s lunch was at a Michelin one star in Galicia Spain. A five course tasting menu with three items per course and matching wine. Four leisurely hours. Galicia has a 2 month tourist season when Madrid flees to the coast in the summer. We were the only people in the restaurant so it was like having private dining. Really creative food art with three chefs and our waitress with only the four of us. For one of the items, they brought us into the kitchen to give us five different kinds of smoked fish.
