Are you sure it's olive oil? That seems like an expensive choice for canned tuna. I think the last canned-in-oil tuna I bought was packed in safflower oil or somethihg like that. There may be high-end brands that use o/o but you can only glorify canned tuna so much.

Bumblee (fairly common - I'd in no way call them "high-end") makes it and you can get it at Walmart for $2.08 a can - I wouldn't buy it, but then again, I'm not a tuna person, unless it involves tuna salad sandwiches, tuna melts, tuna casserole or Tuna Helper. And the kind packed in water is just fine for that.

The tuna I like is packed in olive oil and comes in glass jars. In Spain, some very good seafood is canned and packed in olive oil.

Oh, you just reminded me of the best tuna I have had recently. It came in a bottle...from Wal-Mart. It was in their 'gourmet' kinda area and was NOT cheap. It comes in a few varieties. I like the garlic one. Here is a link to Amazon's listing of the same product.

Tonnino Tuna Tuna Filet With Garlic Oil, 6.7 oz
