Raze22, your best bet would be to call the restaurant and ask them.
Ha, I too thought it was the mustard in NYC's Penn Station.

I read that and I , too, was thinking of the real Penn Station, not some eponymous sandwich shop lol

I'm not familiar with Penn Station, but will gladly share my favorite honey mustard recipe. Perhaps you can tell by looking at the ingredients whether it will be something you would like or not. If not, that's fine. We all have differing tastes.
HONEY MUSTARD
1 C real mayonnaise
1/3 C yellow prepared mustard
1/3 C honey
1/16th tsp garlic powder
1/16th tsp ground cayenne pepper
Stir all to combine and keep refrigerated.

Hmmmm, red cayenne pepper might be that missing ingredient. I'm definitely going to try this and thank you.

Of course I'll give a update before the end of the day est.

Try sending them gushing fan mail. They might send you some if you gush enough.

If I was the OP, I would go to the manager of the local Penn Station and buy a small container of the honey mustard. Then, I would take that mustard and compare it to the hundreds of brands of honey mustard out there OR I would make my own honey mustard (which would never contain mayonnaise by the way).

I think that over the past five years that I have tasted 600-800 mustards and there are actually that many out there.

Jack Daniels makes a good honey mustard. You should be able to find it on the shelf with the rest of the mustard.

My family was given a gift basket with an excellent honey mustard, but I was never able to find that brand name to buy it separately. I didn't want to buy an entire gift basket of not very good stuff in order to get another 8 ounces of the mustard. I can't remember the brand name, not that it matters because it doesn't appear to be sold to the public.

What I suggest, OP, is to go through their trash and see what mustard they are buying. If it is a sub shop, it is unlikely that they are making their own.

Or wait until the manager isn't there and offer an employee $10 to tell you what brand they are using.

You could try a restaurant supply store, but it might be tough to buy a gallon of mustard and then to find out it isn't the right one.
