This week so far has been "let's break" week for just about everything in the house, from carpet scrubbers, to power washers, to the stove - my husband is about at the end of his rope. He said he just wants to order out - ANYWHERE out - that way nothing else can break.
Now all we have to do is figure out from where...
I've had weeks like that..... after 3 items I refuse to touch anything expensive.

Tonight my husband is making five-spice chicken wings on the grill, shrimp-fried rice and a tomato/cuke/spinach/avocado salad. I made lemon butter cookies last night and since I was in a baking mood, I also made a banana rum cheesecake for whenever.
I am on vacation this week. Today we went out for an early dinner/late lunch. I got deviled crab with red potatoes and cole slaw. I had a Red Stripe to drink.
We are all just lazing about in food comas right now. Hopefully we will get our second wind soon.
I made scrambled eggs with muenster cheese and onions, cinnamon French toast, I added half and half, cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla extract to the egg mixture.
lamb chops with shwarma spices done in the pan -- t-storms moving in, so no grilling out tonight -- and steamed asparagus. Made a little dipping sauce for the lamb with mint from the garden, dill, sour cream, garlic & lemon. Dessert was a couple of Dove dark chocolate squares with salted caramel filling
Spaghetti and meat balls
Kale, broccoli and mango salad
Iced tea
