well I just don't know, I still have the split pea soup in the fridge and have to finish making it or wait til Monday. I bought most of my Mexican dinner home last night. I am leaning on making some tacos to go with what I brought home and having the soup Monday night. I can't have it on Sunday. I am too much of a traditionalist. Sunday has to be a big meal.

We just went through the daily "24 questions" routine - we have rice, pasta, potatoes. Oven roasted potatoe wedges with lots of fresh sage, grilled chicken thighs marinated in buttermilk, glazed carrots with tiny garden onions, lettuce ( gold plated!).

Cookies with oats, coconut, dried pineapple

Saw a beauty of a rockfish at the market this morning, so it will be that with probably a little butter caper pan sauce, along with some fresh local asparagus and baked sweet potatoes.

It's cold and still somewhat rainy here today, so I got up early and put a pot roast in the crock pot covered with gravy, onions and carrots. Will serve with red cabbage and mashed potatoes. Deep dish apple pie for dessert served warm with vanilla ice cream.

It's chilly out and my husband has been asking for German pancakes - but I never have time in the morning.

So, tonight one of his favorites - German pancakes with a warm strawberry banana bourbon sauce and a dollop of sour cream.

This dinner sounds delish my friend! I tried to rep you but it's too soon. Thank you for your concern. DS is going thru another med change. Cocoa will be a year old on May 17. Hard to believe. We got thru the storms yesterday with no damage. Have a great weekend!
