What a rainy dreary morning. Are we sure it's July? It's a perfect day for Jamiacan curried chicken served over rice with a basil, tomato and goat cheese salad.
Short pasta with tiny bell peppers, lots of garlic and fresh herbs, olive oil, grilled chicken breast and green salad. It is so not me may not have to turn the grill on.
Tonight a barbecue. I heard we will get burgers,chicken,salmon,roasted baby potato halves,Caesar salad,lentil salad with rice,parsley,lime juice,black pepper and sauces of your choice. For dessert strawberry cheesecake and coffee.
I know this is not the right forum area for this news but I since I enjoy posting here more than any other area, I will tell you why my husband and I are celebrating with T-bones and champagne tonight! I think I've mentioned here that I am an engineer and a patent agent for a large law firm that transferred me to Washington from California. I have a J.D. but I don't have a traditional practice. Anyway, I was made a partner at my firm (I brought in a lot of new South American business), so all of the traveling and late nights, etc. finally paid off!

Tonight, we plan on dinner at The Chart House for a belated anniversary dinner. Early dining menu is very affordable, and it's double points on Mondays.
Right now I'm thinking pinwheels made of flour tortillas, roast beef, romaine, garden tomato, and a sauce mixed from labneh, horseradish, fresh dill, and a small clove of garlic.
