ok, so I finally didn't stick with my menu plan for the week. We are having last nights plan tonight. Didn't have time to make the potato salad before going out most of yesterday and potato salad has to be made a few hours ahead of time to be really tasty I think, so we had hamburger patties, veggies and ramen noodles last night and are having our pulled pork and potato salad tonight.
I think I'll head to the Asian market today to get a nice fish to filet for dinner -- hoping for rockfish, but will take sea bass, grouper or snapper -- and have that with broccoli with lemon butter and corn on the cob that I got at the farmer's market this morning. I think this will be the last of the local corn and it's been so good this year, I hate to see the season end. Dessert will be brownies, also from the farmer's market.
I am making ceviche and had some akule deep fried extra crispy. Side of spinach.

I had craving for soft Brezen/Pretzel today so I baked some which we will have tonight with butter, Limburger and Harzer cheese and a few beers while watching NHL Ice Hockey. Can't get any better than this.
It's chilly today with temperatures in the low 40s. A perfect day for chili.
I am making it with pinto and kidney beans and will be using a roundsteak that has been sitting in the freezer for awhile. Dinner will be served with Buttermilk cornbread and I have yet to decide on the vegetable.
