Pork chops sauteed with white gravy, mashed potatoes, and green beans. For dessert, a bundt cake a good friend brought over (made with butter pecan cake mix, sour cream, and cheesecake instant pudding...she says it is to DIE for and I believe her). Can grown ups have dessert before dinner?

It's a variation on a recipe I gave her...tweak a box of cake mix with a coordinating instant pudding. I've always done devils food/chocolate pudding, lemon/lemon pudding, butter pecan/butterscotch pudding, etc. She's an experimenter, and I'll bet this is awesome.

EDIT:

This cake is sitting on the counter. I can't go in the kitchen...I must be streong!!!!!!

Since Tonight's big game for us Pats fans is during dinner time I am making nachos for dinner. Instead of my usual throw it together method I am going to try Rachel Ray's version.Super Nachos Recipe : Rachael Ray : Food Network
Since neither of my boys actually like nachos and I don't like them eating dinner that late on a school night, they'll have an earlier dinner. Making one of their favorites, French toast, sausages and cantaloupe.

I never thought I would say this about Mexican food, but when it comes to nachos, I like the Texas way best. Individually crafted perfect chips with just bean, cheese, and one slice of jalapeño. If you make the chips, it's one step closer to heaven. You eat less this way, but feel really satisfied.

Now I want nachos. That would mean a trip to the store, so.... Italian sausages, German spinach, rice pilaf.
