On Friday nights we frequently order pizza. We have a favorite place that makes each personal pizza to order. So we are ordering fro Rise Pies. I'll have a Stella with that.

I think I will put that on my bucket list - exploring Texas! I've been there - but with my parents so not in a LONG time. Dinner sounds delish - and I need a pair of cowboy boots. (I had a pair for 20 years and they were destroyed by my puppy a few years back.)

Chef b R D Beeforoli.

I was at the rental, the schedule for moving out of it has been accelerated. Got there....and then crashed for 7 hours, cold is slowly leaving me. Had this dream that I had time traveled to the Titanic hours before the collision and knowing what was to come, was trying to prep myself to survive.

ANYHOW, there's a handful of canned goods left in the rental, so I went for the easy that could be cold, selected the one with the pop top. I couldn't find my 3rd can opener, could always struggle through with my Swiss Army knife (SA in one pocket, folding buck off the other, always), but with the pop top and a spoon, it became a moot point in deciding which.

Just one pair? Only one pair? A, B, and C. A: As it is, my boots are half and half right now. Half at the new house on the ranch, half at the rental house, though I brought back another two pair tonight.

B: About every 8 months or so, I get in a boot buying mood. A few years back, that meant going to Shepler's and getting their factory outlets, but they got out of that business & I haven't shopped there since (well maybe once for boot hooks when I twisted my knee). Sooner or later, though, one will find a boot outlet. I thought that I might have to go to Hillsboro, but found one one much closer & often shop there. I mean, when they offer sales of 3 pairs for $189, who can beat that?

C: When I was in the service, I had this wonderful pair of suede boots that were the envy of everyone who saw me in them. Where did I get this example of wonderful western wear? Boston, Mass ................... go figure.

........ and then, there is D: If the pantry is empty, one's next meal might be the choice of boot leather one has picked.

Thai red curry with squash, zucchini, potatoes, onion, ginger, bamboo shoots, Thai basil, and chicken- sort of a winter medley thing, I love ad libbing. Added a packet of green curry simmer sauce I had lying around just to use it up(I wanted to make green curry originally, but was out of the paste so augmented with the red curry)...

will have over brown rice, before we start our evening (IPAs to drink)...
