Hamburger sliders (pork/beef), home made buns - thank you freezer.
SO is not yet up to speed and a friend from AL will visit tomorrow. Change of date throws me into a loop with work schedules so I will have to prep as much as possible tonight.

Cumin-scented black bean burgers, and maybe roasted sweet potatoes and cauliflower if I feel like turning on the oven on a hot day.

Pan fried chicken cutlets with ziti Rigate. I am on an olive oil and garlic kick. I'd make another sauce but I am out of certain ingredients.

Today I chaperoned a 12 year old gal who has a first degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and watched as she took down 4 adult men in 8 seconds flat! So why does she need me as a chaperone? She requested grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup for dinner. Now THAT sounds more like a 12 year old. I served some fresh veggies and apple slices to make it a little healthier, but she insisted on some dips to go with them. I wasn’t about to argue with her.
