I think so. The data on eaten cholesterol & actual cholesterol tests is vague. Some drs say carbs raise blood lipids more.

Of course I can't find a picture of the label showing ingredients. Daily values tells me nothing.
So, go grab one and read ingredients.
Is it actually cheese or cheese look alike made out of all kinds of chemicals?
Does it have words that you can not pronounce or need chemical dictionary to understand?
If yes - run.

What does your doctor say about carbs and cholesterol?

How do you think cheese is made???

Cheese cultures ripen the milk, enzymes are used to create the cheese curds.

Not much about carbs. I typically eat very little bread (pretty much cut out eating toast a few months ago and dropped ten pounds) but do have a constant weakness for homemade ice cream. I did cut way back on it over the last year.

About my weight, I'm now 15 pounds heavier than I was at my last flight physical. That was 35 years ago.

Sorry, I certainly wasn't questioning your fitness. I was just poking fun at doctors who will harangue us about our dietary cholesterol intake, but never mention the correlation between carbs and cholesterol/triglyceride levels.

I didn't think you were. I figured, since you and I will talk here occasionally, that you were curious.

I threw my weight in because she, Dr., nags me constantly about it. Mostly because I did develop sudden onset high blood pressure, my bad cholesterol has dropped while my good cholesterol is lower than optimum. And there was that little cardiac event a few years ago.

OP, one of the downsides to the cheese is too much can really bind you up.
