We always had two meals for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter.
When we were kids on T-Giving, my Aunt would make a Spaghetti meal w/ Sausage and Meatballs, salad, bread, etc. Then, about 1/2 hour later, the turkey and ham would come out w/ all of the normal T Giving day stuff. Then, the pies and other assorted treats would come out. I thought these people must be crazy, but, no, they were just Italian.
Don't have tree frogs here so can't use the real thing. It's a chopped pecans rice crispies chopped almonds covered in chocolate thing.
Hmmm, that may solve our coqui frog problem...

We're going to a relatives so I'm just making some dessert to take over there.
I just learned that a new friend was going to be alone so now I DO get to cook a little bit--deviled eggs and probably cocktail franks (never made cocktail franks before but I always heard of them.) I figured we'd need some protein/nourishment because the rest of it is going to be Haagen Das, homemade tarts and she's bringing a store bought pie. ETA: Hubby is making the short crust pastry RIGHT now for the dessert. I was kicked out of the kitchen so here I sit as the hotdogs thaw out.

Just finished baking a batch of gingerbread men. Going to frost them tomorrow.
