A handful of Ruffles chips & what seemed like a dozen glasses of water.
I wanted to buy a bunch of oranges or grapefruits at Costco today, to eat all day, but I bypassed the aisle... it was too crowded with meandering shoppers Valhalla bent on racing about with giant carts as if they were on some Cinderella timeline & their shopping baskets would turn into pumpkins at noon sharp... & oh, well... I forgot the citrus.
Ruffles aren't a reasonable facsimile thereof... but, they sure were crunchy good.
Praline, glad your husband is on the mend & nice to have you back!
Wow, that little fella is really enjoying those chips. Actually, I probably look just like that scarfing down potato chips - I confess to being a chipaholic. A.Typical.Girl you are ever hilarious!
I'm feeling under the weather and a little congested so I made a spicy, vegetable packed soup with supposed healing spices and herbs, leeks, cauliflower, spinach, kale, garlic, a one diced habanero pepper, turmeric, curry and black lentils.
DH baked a loaf of beer bread. Sipping Gluhwein with mulled with lots of cloves and having a very thin slice of stolen (baked by a neighbor) for desert
Going to try this...guess you could use vegetable or chicken broth as a base.
Hope you're feeling better!

tonight I am doing a Mexican dinner using some pulled pork I have had frozen for awhile. We will have tacos, with hatch chiles mixed into the meat, beans (not refried) and guacamole salad. Actually the tacos may end up being tostadoes (spelling) they are easier than trying to get too much into a taco.
Tonight is pizza night!
Ingredients will be Durum flour, tomato paste, oregano, onions, ginger, garlic, tomato slices, green olives, green Bell pepper, red Bell pepper, green and red chilies and Canadian old cheddar cheese.Served with grated white radish salad in an olive oil, white vinegar,salt/black pepper vinaigrette. To drink Hacker-Pschorr Münchner Gold beer.Later by the fireplace a variety of my baked Christmas cookies and a glass of red mulled wine/Glühwein.
Have a restful weekend everyone
