Today I got up really early so I had a really early dinner. I'd bought salmon on sale at Hannaford yesterday and figured I'd try a new recipe, mustard-maple salmon, from here: https://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/...recipe-1960851 . I had to substitute lime juice for lemon, but otherwise I made it as written (except for only making 1 portion!), and WOW, was it delicious. I've used mustard with salmon before and it's always turned out great, but I don't think I've ever added maple to it. YUM.

I did my usual stir-fried veggies to go with it -- today it was carrots, onions, grape tomatoes, and mushrooms. YUM to them too!

Oh, I kept reaching for my phone to take pictures -- but alas, my one-and-a-half-year-old iPhone died last weekend. I just got my new one yesterday but haven't even set it up yet (it's kind of nice being unreachable except by email ... but I miss the camera!). Hopefully I'll be back with photos some time soon!

Happy weekend, everyone!

Happy weekend, everyone!
Salmon sounds lovely, Dear...and your signature side dish of stir fry veggies always intrigues me.
Hope your weekend is just Ducky!
