Pancetta this time. Visiting relatives and am not aware of a local source of guanciale, although I agree with you that it is the superior ingredient.

Quick and easy dinners this week for I am busy preparing for Canadian Thanksgiving this upcoming weekend.

It is raining since last night and will continue all day and tomorrow.It feels cold and damp and my favorite place will be the kitchen
Took out chicken soup from the freezer and will add fresh vegetable and egg noodles.For dessert honeydew melon.Later by the fireplace a cup of Ricola tea.

We are having crab cakes that have been in the freezer and a nice mac salad. Also left over. I will have to add a veggie, but no idea what. It is getting a little late for summer veggies and spoiled brat is getting a bit tired of me serving brussel sprouts so often. I do have snow peas I could use or bok Choy. Think I will do the bok choy.
