Cutting down on salt because of high bp, I buy no-salt chips. It is so easy to buy them.....but once I open the bag...out comes the salt shaker

Before I went on my no sugar eating that I am on now, I have eaten full sized entire layer cakes on a weekend. Half a cake on Sat and the other half on Sun. Tippins layer cakes are out of this world. I used to buy the yorkie dogs (can get those at Walmart bakery). They are two cupcakes loaded with enough frosting to shape it into a fluffy yorkie dog. I have baked a dozen chocolate chip cookies only to eat the entire batch and have to make a dozen more. Been there done that!

CONGRATULATIONS! That's outstanding!

Oh I know. I had to stop baking cookies because I would just eat them all. Snickerdoodles are my weakness and I can make really yummy ones! I don’t think I could ever completely cut out sugar, but I would like to not eat sweets every day. I’d like to limit it to maybe just 3-4 days a week, but even that would be hard for me.

For me it was cake. I loved baking cakes. When I stopped eating sugar, I ended up selling my Kitchen-Aid.

I spent months eating salads, healthy stuff and felt great. A long vacation from work due to reduced hours changed that.

Ate hardly any veggies
Greasy chicken lo mein (ordered something leaner, restaraunt messed up the takeout order)
Pringles
Diet soda after I nearly gave it up

I won't do this to myself anymore. Nope! Either eat it and enjoy every single bite or leave it on the table but don't eat it and then make yourself feel badly about it. How mean is that to do to yourself?

Every time I eat chicken, I feel guilty because I had the sweetest little Banty hen for a pet for awhile. I could not eat ANY chicken for years after that. But it's been 8 years now, and I'm slowly easing back if it's not the whole body recognizable

I have been on a worse than usual diet since June. Labor Day is a cheat day and OMG, I have a list. 10 days and counting!
