Tonight we had a small bowl of our hearty and spicy Dirty Rice and Beans Soup along with a fresh-out-of-the-oven Whole Grain Sourdough Focaccia, made from our home-milled red wheat flour, and topped with red onions, tomatoes, garlic, kalamata olives, and fresh rosemary. We shared a bottle of merlot wine as well.

Hot dogs with kimchi, mac salad and an arugula salad with a slightly sweet sesame dressing. Maybe oatmeal raisin cookies later on.

Ha, ha. My husband is the same. Sometimes I will give him an easy list to chose from...and somtimes he gets what I make with no input, lol.

I need to think on this. I have a freezer full but also need to use up some food. My chickens are also in overdrive so lots of eggs, lol.

Maybe a big salad with a hard boiled sliced egg and some toasted homemade bread for me and hubby....he gets the pulled pork that I had last night, lol.
