Tonight we had a small bowl of our hearty and spicy Dirty Rice and Beans Soup along with a fresh-out-of-the-oven Whole Grain Sourdough Focaccia, made from our home-milled red wheat flour, and topped with red onions, tomatoes, garlic, kalamata olives, and fresh rosemary. We shared a bottle of merlot wine as well.
DH lost the right to choose a dinner. I could ask him 4 times a day, and he has no idea, then at 5pm he wants pork butt, which is a big old frozen hunk of meat. After 5 years of that, I stopped asking.

Maybe a big salad with a hard boiled sliced egg and some toasted homemade bread for me and hubby....he gets the pulled pork that I had last night, lol.
