I'm doing a seafood platter of sorts - haven't quite nailed all the details but there will be mussels in a garlic butter sauce, scallops, flounder and the last 2 remaining tempura shrimp that have been lingering in the freezer. Green beans for one of the sides and maybe a bit of rice pilaf to soak up the juices!
We are going to graze tonight. DH and I will have shrimp cocktail, doctored up frozen pizza, tater tots, with cheese, scallions, and bacon. Happy New Year....lets hope it`s a better one.
Lots of "pizza" on this page! And that's what I'm having too, leftover Market Basket pizza (almost as good heated up as it was on the first day).
It will be a very quiet New Year's Eve for me, but I don't mind that at all. A few phone calls, some pizza, then cuddling with kitties while I watch streaming video. TOMORROW I turn 62 and I am hoping for a much better 2021 than 2020!! It will be (unexpectedly) my RETIREMENT YEAR so there's that to look forward to as well (although it's a bit scary!).
