Is it my imagination that the last of the coffee in a canister is not as good as the rest was? Seems to me it just doesn't taste right, to say nothing of it not setting on the digestive system right. Am I imagining things?
Coffee loses flavor and changes noticeably after about ten days in a open container. You could buy smaller size containers so it’s all used in a week.
I don't drink coffee but I read to NOT keep it in the refrigerator (the moisture affects it) - it's best to keep it in a freezer or put it in smaller air-tight containers.

The bags with the metal ribbon allows you to close it up tight without letting air in. A canister or can will leave more and more ai space as you use it, so every batch will be less fresh. I now use Nespresso pods, which are aluminum and recycled, though more expensive than Keurig.
If you are buying coffee in plastic canisters, it's not great coffee to begin with. Just my opinion.
Which is probably why a small cup of it is my daily fare. And, why, if I may ask, do I get a message of "you cannot give .....to the same person twice" when I have never given anything to the person before? Dare I ask. It seems to be my steady response lately. But that is another topic. So, thank you VT Snowbird.

That's a thought.
